Bodybuilding??
Here we are year 2019! We all have goals for a new year, everyone has different ones but many of us including myself is to be healthier and fit. I have been doing TRX for entire time that I have been recovering from all this cancer crap but during the holiday break I was able to hit the gym hard! Harder than before. I was not able to run without stopping even before this health stuff started so I worked out hard for a week and hopped on the treadmill. I am used to working out on the elliptical machine and doing up to 10 miles a day but never just run. I did 3 miles and to my surprise I was able to do it without passing out so I did it few times that one week. Following week while doing weights and everything else I decided to go for 5 miles…It felt so good to be able to just run and fast I may say. Something just makes you feel so good while exerting yourself . Now I run 5 miles each time and increase the speed when I am feeling up to it. I also decided to start training for bodybuilding “competitions” I am not saying that I will even compete…. like ever but I want to do this training challenge just to get stronger and push my body to the max. I think it is important to just have a goal in mind. When I was a kid I wanted to just be all muscles but I have never achieved a good muscle definition. I just think it is so sexy just to see that on a body. Muscles do not have to be huge, light weight bodybuilders are 115 lbs or less! So I would be the heavy weight. I am working with a trainer who gave me a workout schedule and now I am seriously training. The biggest struggle will be eating enough. I have to eat enough protein and good calories but that is my struggle post surgery. I can only eat small meals and they usually have be bland and easy to digest.
I will post updates!! Lets do this together
